I'm not sure that being gay is necessary to like tea. It would be more realistic to think that people who like sugar in their tea are gay. But I am not gay and I like sugar in my tea, so we can conclude fairly quickly that my theory is falsified with an n=1 investigation.

Not that I'm arguing a point that gayness is required to drink tea. I, too, am straight like Running Bull's arrow shaft. I prefer honey to sugar in my tea. But I use 'gay' as a general term of abuse to those who may hold a discussion of Arizona Green Tea. Something like that.
